Like having a support network in your pocket
I first heard about Quilt from a friend of mine who introduced it by saying: “It’s like a TedTalk plus therapy” and she was right - but what I wasn’t expecting was the community I would be welcomed into when I downloaded Quilt. The conversations are informative, relatable, and supportive - some days I just want to listen and some days I want to speak - both days are enriching and rewarding. The community is comprised of people of all different gender identities, backgrounds, and cultures - but when you are on the app it’s a total equalizer and you feel like you’re all the same. I’ve had so much fun and been so inspired on a daily basis - and I can’t imagine how I would have gotten through 2020 without this secret weapon. My advice to you if one of your New Years resolutions is to prioritize self-care: start by downloading this app.
Quilt has changed my life
I found out about Quilt at a women in tech networking event. I immediately loved the concept because I was having intimate conversation with strangers about their problems as well as my own. I had learned more in one conversation than I had in months of self contemplation. Making friends has always been hard for me. I had no girl friends in LA for two years and within 2 months I’ve made a group or girls I can call to hang out with, cry to, girls who have housed me when I left my apartment after a breakup, and girls I’ve shared meals with. I have met wonderful people and have deeply connected with women. I didn’t realize how much my mind and soul needed human connection until I got it. I highly recommend this app. Don’t go in with any expectations. Just be yourself. Before you know if you’ll have friends that last a lifetime. It’s crazy.
dont close the app down please this is my only lifeline
I really like this app I really get to connect with people but they’re closing it down on Thursday and I don’t want them to close it down. They need to consider making a new one. Please do not close this down people love this app people come together people connect. The whole world comes together when there’s trouble when you are sick you can get on this app when you are doing something you can get on this app when you are bored you can get on this app. This makes you feel happy please do not close this app down and be very appreciative if you keep it up because some people need help in the world, it helps me connect to the world love and peace please do not close this app
