The unofficial Escape from Tarkov companion app, brought to you by Veritas with help from his community, is just what every PMC needs by their side before, during, and after their raids! Search, view, and compare everything from firearms, ammo, and body armor, to medical items and melee weapons. Interactive ballistics calculators help you learn about damage, penetration, and fragmentation of different rounds vs. different types of armor and enemies. Informational write-ups on the various systems in the game and how they work, from a high-level perspective, and so much more coming in the future!

What’s New

Version 1.0.2

Added localizations for Korean, Norwegian, Slovenian, and Czech. More coming soon! By popular demand, I added the ability to change the app language from inside the app. I fixed some bugs and other usability issues related to the comparison screen. It now shows more clearly each property and value in the graph, and uses all items of that type to determine the min and max values. Fixed a few localization issues and typos.

Massive contribution to the EFT Community

I love this app and everything it does for the community!! My only comment in my short time using it would be that the graphs for ammo can be a bit misleading and are not at all relative.

For example, I compared M995 and M856A1. For fragmentation chance, they both are at 32% but the bar for M856A1 is nearly triple the size. For muzzle velocity, M995 is at 1013 and M856A1 is at 940, but the bar is significantly larger for M995 despite the relative difference being far smaller. Armor damage for M856A1 is 45 while M995 is 57, but again the M995 bar is substantially larger than their actual relation.

Graphs are intended to show data relatively, so I feel this detail is important. They are currently showing the absolute difference on a set range of numbers instead of taking the full range into account for a relative relationship.

5 star is accurate

Im a EFT noob, thought the high reviews may be fluff due to Veritas popularity as a streamer. Once opened you see Veritas has put the metric ton of information at our finger tips. In just a few minutes i learned things about meds i didnt know. With this info quickly at hand you can build your kit but more important understand why/when/how to use for ever changing EFT situations. Ui input - for firearm comparison seems to just go to the overall compare, be great if item being compared is at the top and you select just items to compare. Armor pen possibly include caliber in photo. I.e Multiple cals of BP, including cal and new players will learn to determine what cal is in the pic, helpful for checking clips in game. Great work - NolanCreate

Translations, Calculations and the app itself.

I’ve watched Veritas for a long while on twitch, and all I have to say is that he hit home with this app. Not only is the Serbian translation spot on (other than some non Cyrillic words) is perfect and grats to whoever did the translations. Now for the calculations. From my time playing the game of course I do not know all the calculations in my head but I can tell you for a fact that these are accurate. Ammo like 995 which people think penetrates almost always only penetrates a mere 8%. Seeing these numbers is awesome especially to a veteran tarkov player. The app is fluid, crisp and beautiful, from the pictures to the menus. All I have to say is thanks to Veritas for even making this a possibility!
