Solitaire Story: Ava's Manor 9+

I LOVE this game!!❤️❤️

I love this game. It has all the decorating that I love to do, but with card games instead of the normal match three. I like those games, but I was kinda getting bored of them. So I was REALLY excited when I found this game. One of my favorites definitely. I love the story and the animations are so cute. I love how you have to uncover the mystery of the past. Now I can’t say to much about it for future players, but I will say that it is awesome.

I love how realistic the characters are. I have a dog, and he would totally do must of the things that Marlowe does. So good job in that. I only have one complaint and it’s not I big one. I was playing the hard level and selected the booster so I could win, (I did,) and when I started playing the other one it automatically decided that I needed to use my last booster on that one because I had wanted one last time. It’s not much, but it would be great if that could be fixed.

Other than that, great game, good job, would totally recommend it.

Good game but very expensive to play.

You can count on paying at least 50,000 coins for each star you get. it now costs 1880 coins to begin a game. The free cards are no longer free and you have to use 2 cards to begin. At a cost of 900 coins each. You’ll get one solitaire rhat you can solve on the first go round, the next will be more difficult and will require more boosters. But the cost of the boosters has increased exponentially. The torch now costs 22,000 coins but it will only burn 4 cards and the Hard and SuperHard levels will leave you with 5, 6 or more cards, so it’s cheaper to give up and spend 1880 more coins to start over. Or you can spend 5500 coins for the first wild card and 7200 for the second and so on. The scissors booster is 11,000 at the moment but it also increases every few games. At one point the game allowed your coins to go into a piggy bank but to redeem the bonus coins you’ve earned by spending $200 in real money, you then have to spend $50 to buy them back. It gets even more ridiculous than this as you go on. Forget buying the 5 extra cards. You can buy 5 extra cards for 3600 coins but you will not have one matching card. The next 5 will cost you double.
So, if you’re Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos you’ll enjoy a good storyline and nice graphics but if you’re an average mortal, I suggest you get a good mystery on Kindle.

Pros and cons

I like the game in a general sense, but there are some issues. First and foremost, the number of pop ups is ridiculous. Before you can claim your daily whatever you have to close 4 or 5 boxes. Win a level? More boxes. Things pop up that you have nothing to actually do in terms of collection, just annoying ones that either ask for money or tell you what you already know. Being shown what I still need to collect is valueless when I have no way to collect other than clear another round. It’s a time waster that is especially bothersome when you have a timed special like unlimited sweeps for the next ten minutes.
And the dialogs between characters can be reeeeeally drawn out. I’m tired of the convo’s being drawn out with contributions from the dog. He’s a cutie, but there’s way too much dog speak. Seriously.

I’m enjoying the challenges of the levels, and I really love the different attributes like the cards that are attached to another. They’ve found creative ways to make solitaire interesting.
