Accurate heart rhythm?
All though the pulse rate was accurate I don’t understand how you can track the heart rhythm off a peripheral pulse? Showing the P wave, QRS, and T wave with out have no other leads is misleading and could cause people to panic. My Rhythm showed ST depression which indicates lack of oxygen to the heart or some other type of cardiac issue. If I were sitting here short of breath or having chest pains I’d maybe believe it but that’s we’re this app could be misleading to people with some healthcare knowledge. If you are able to give me a good explanation on how you get a cardiac rhythm based on the pulse using the capillaries on your finger that would be awesome and I’d maybe give it 5 stars and use that info to make millions creating an ekg machine that you place on a patients fingers and toes.
This app is really making me feel better about the amount of walking I do...I had no idea how far I walk all night and that I am more active than other people my age.
I always think that I am not as active but I am on my feet all night/day I have weird hours 0200am to 1030am as basically a night worker.
Wish I could afford a apple watch but
Cardiogram is a very effective diagnostic tool
I have a personal reason for using Cardiogram. I had an acute MI almost 20 years ago. That event damaged my heart’s internal pacer. Subsequently, I often suffer dysthymia... poor internal control of my heart rate. My heart runs slow... my bradycardia is in the 50’s and goes as slow as the 30’s during sleep. As you might guess, I have an embedded pacemaker.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
