LuminantMusic is Luminant!

…for the lively spirited in mind. Simple visualizations but yet captivating to the music playing behind them. Main drawback: crashes after 10 iTunes play in succession. Developers, please look into this and correct …as avid users of LM really appreciate LuminantMusic. Also to note: as a minor setback, must reset visual preference (all available, all owned, all liked) at the start of each new load as feature doesn't save. Otherwise, LuminantMusic is One of The Best in The World and heading for a 5 star rating!

ELIVS's Spirit, Thank You very much for the feedback and insight. Our quality team will be looking at these issues this week and we will try to verify and roll out fixes as soon as possible. Rock on with them Blue Suede Shoes!

Seems like a good app, but

I got this for my mobile to plug into a projector. I am using the mic on the cell. The sensitivity of the mic can’t be changed so the sync seems off. I have tested the mic on the phone and it is working.

There are no instructions. I am trying to get it to scroll through the visualizations but it seems very hit and miss, it will sometime scroll automatically and sometimes just sit there. The visualizations are good but I don’t want sit next to my phone tapping it to change the screen.

There is no support or simple faq… I paid for the monthly subscription. There are various options, but no explanation on what they do.

Thank You for the Feedback Nick.

Each scene is unique in how it analyzes sound data, some work better with Microphone mode than others. We are also working on a method to help alleviate lag between microphone and visuals. Your microphone concerns should be addressed in an upcoming update.

You have some control over which how frequently the scenes change in the Settings -> Scenes tab, mostly how frequently to change scenes. This too is being improved upon right now.

That is a lot to promise in a review reply, but rest assured we are working on an major interface update to Luminant Music. Promptly after the update, we will re-evaluate our FAQ guides.

We sincerely appreciate your support of Luminant Music. And if you have any questions or issues you would like to discuss, we are most happy to help at info@luminantmusic.com.

Thanks Again!

Good Start But Needs Work

I’m assuming this app is specifically for musicians and artists, or individuals really into visualization of musical effects. However, it can get lost to the general public. Although some of the effects were visually pleasing, other were weird and kind of cringy. I’d love to see more effects that are calmer and smooth with also more diversity. Some were the same two colors over and over. It would also make sense for the pictures to move laterally in some options to flow with the music. Not really sure what the overall point is and the home screen should have the effects playing horizontally over the app vs vertically because it loses most of the original picture that way.
