TauCeti Unknown Origin Technology benchmark is an action sci-fi FPS showcasing the high-quality visuals available to current hi-end mobile devices. It contains the beginning of the game and you can compare the performance of your mobile device.

TauCeti Unknown Origin throws your protagonist directly into the danger. Your space ship, famed ESS Meridian (known from Dead effect 2) has gone haywire and crashed. The escape pod saved your life and brought you safely to the surface of the planet Tau Ceti f, directly in the jungle full of unknown life forms, some of them possibly intelligent, and now littered with the debris from the crashed ship. Can you survive and uncover the secrets of the planet?

TauCeti Unknown Origin is a beautiful but dangerous place. From thick tropical rainforests to deep canyons and dangerous marshes, it's full of dangerous fauna and traces of ancient civilizations. Mysterious crumbling temples can offer shelter and knowledge, but they're often full of danger. Lifeforms on the planet are not friendly and they don't take kindly to pieces of your broken ship and a handful of human survivors.

I really want this game to succeed so here’s detailed feedback

As I said before, it does not work on the iPhone SE 2nd Gen at all despite the phone having the newest Apple A13 chip. Please fix this, it’s urgent. I tried it on my iPhone 8 but on lowest graphics settings it was still a massive battery drain and crashed too often, but at least it was playable. This game needs to take huge leaps in optimization. If that means having a dip in graphical or animation quality, do it!

I like the extend of the customizing controls feature, however it needs some improvements. If you place the jump button near the top right corner, it’s completely non-fucntional. I like playing on claw control schemes so this is a big issue for me. I also hate auto fire and would like an option to turn it off. Finally, more sensitivity options would be nice, such as aim acceleration, individual axis sensitivity and inversion, and especially sprint sensitivity. Currently I have to drag the virtual analog stick uncomfortably high up on the screen of my iPhone 8.

Environments, enemies, weapons:
Nothing but good things here, this is where I see the potential of the game. I really enjoyed Dead Effect 1 and 2 so I have no doubt BadFly can make a good game in this regard, but these playability issues need to be fixed first! Good luck with the development of this game

This game is going to be great the short demo was amazing can’t wait for the full game and I hope it’s not going to be free I’m tired of free games that have flooded the mobile market with all the pay to win and stupid ads and thank you for having controller support I read one review where someone said it didn’t support controllers but I just played it with my ps4 controller and it was very smooth had all the graphic options turned to ultra and had no problems playing on my iPhone 11 I did have one glitch though when I first got the shotgun and I had to reload the sound for reloading never stopped even though I wasn’t reloading hope this is coming out very soon can’t wait oh and even though I can manually shoot using a controller still think you should have a option to turn auto shoot off completely

Good and Bad

The good: graphics are amazing; after a little bit of stutter at start of each area, game is pretty smooth; amazing monster designs; seems interesting.

The bad: 2.2 gb for 10 minutes of gameplay? How big will the final game be? Controls are ok, not great. Each area is very small (about 1 minute to fully explore). As expected, makes iPad Pro very hot and drained 20% of battery in 10 minutes.
