Welcome to Xoonio!
Xoonio enables help seeking users in consumer tech to mutually connect to a global crowd of helpers to get relevant purchase information, guide in product onboarding or help for resolving service issues.
-STEP 1: Open the app.
Xoonio allows you to start without registration (fast seeker). To use all “off-session” features like “Store”, you have to register though.
-STEP 2: 3 Ways to define the product and issue you’d like to talk about.
First way: You could choose “Enter product details” to type in the “Manufacturer”, the “Product Name” and the “Issue description” and press “Confirm” to start a global search for available helpers.
Second way: Press “Ask anything about your smartphone by sharing your screen” and type in the “Issue description” to connect to available helpers. Be aware, that this choice activates screensharing and let helpers see your app screen during the following live session.
The third way: Press “Scan product or issue details”. There you can use our xoonio scan mask to scan QR codes (provided by companies) or EAN codes (to be found at product displays or boxes) to provide helpers with sufficient information about the products and issues in the coming live session.
-STEP 3: Choose your helper
After starting the global search, you will be provided with a list of available helpers to choose from. Press at the chosen one to see detail information about the helper such as rating and reviews, skills or certificates. Pressing “Connect” sends a connection request to the chosen helper. Wait until he or she confirms your request. Use the red phone icon at the bottom to end the request. You will be transferred to the helper list to choose another helper.
-STEP 4: Enter the session
After helper has accepted your call, your session starts. You need to start the video transmission manually by pressing the large pulse labeled “TAP HERE TO BEGIN VIDEO”. BE AWARE, that xoonio doesn’t offer face-to-face communication as it was solely built for product-related conversation.
-STEP 5: Talk about your products and issues
The app offers rich communication features:
Talk to your people live like on the phone about the product you are both looking at.
Place labels on snapshots of your products and download information for offline use.
Draw with your fingers on screen, set arrows, warning signs or number process steps.
Express your feelings during a help session with emojis to show empathy or keep motivation high.
Create snapshots for a hands-free approach and to download them to your smartphone.

Share your screen to explain apps or settings at the phone of your connected friends.
+ AUGMENTED REALITY
Display products that are not physically present and discuss them live on your smartphone.
-STEP 6: End the call
After you have received all needed information from your helper it is time to say goodbye. Press the hang-up phone icon at top left and press “OK” to confirm your choice.
-STEP 7: Rate your helper and write a succinct review
Use your fingers to hover over the stars to award your helper between 1 star (not so good) and 5 stars (very good). Write reviews to tell us and your helper/seeker how you perceived the help session. Be honest but follow our xooniquette to respect other’s privacy, avoiding offensive comments. Reviews should be not shorter than 5 and not longer than 20 words.
-STEP 8: Inform us if you got the help you needed
The info screen “Did you get the help you needed” allows you a choice. Pressing “Yes” ends the process and takes you to the final step. Pressing “No” re-directs you to the helper list to find another helper on the helper list.
-STEP 9: Visit “Store”
Xoonio’s product messenger allows the management of consumer tech products in use or at in-app wishlists.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
