Welcome to COVID CHALLENGE, the interactive game to fight the coronavirus!
AN EDUCATIONAL GAME
In order to fight the global coronavirus epidemic, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) invites you to play this quiz game to test your knowledge and learn more about protective measures against COVID-19.
Each time, you will encounter an illustrated situation for which you will have to find the right answer. Each questions has been designed to illstrate daily-life situations and provide basic knowledge to avoid being infected by the coronavirus.
CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER
Choose your character according to your region of the world. You can play different families to have different illustrations according to your choices. This will also let you know how things are going elsewhere and how other people in the world can protect themselves.
For every correct answer you get, you earn one star, and the more questions you answer correctly, the more stars you get. The stars are a measure of your knowledge.
Each time you answer a question, you can share the illustrated message with your friends and community. This will spread the information so that everyone knows how to protect themselves from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
COVID-19 (or "coronavirus") is a new virus that is spreading rapidly around the world creating a pandemic. It is caused by transmission of droplets emitted by the person infected with coronavirus when they come into close contact with others. For example, by coughing or sneezing without covering the nose and mouth, or touching one’s eyes, nose or mouth and then touching surfaces that others may come into contact with unknowingly. A large number of people in many regions and countries around the world have been infected, or affected by this virus. Personal and collective hygienic actions, also called "protective measures", are used to protect oneself, loved ones and the rest of society.
A INTERACTIVE GAME
This game was developed by Médecins Sans Frontières with Pixel Impact, to provide a tool to increase awareness and changes in habits linked to the risk of coronavirus infection. Together, we have worked to develop this engaging game that allows people to adopt actions that protect themselves from the coronavirus and thus stop the progression of the epidemic.
As a medical organization, MSF hopes to reach vast populations of the world through interactive tools like this game and pass preventative messages that help curtail the pandemic.
