I liked it!!!
This is a cute, fun, little walk through a puzzle game. It’s meant to be simple, it’s not meant to give you a stroke with it’s difficulties. I really liked it!
Why not 5 stars? Well, its brevity. I was really looking forward to puzzling my way to the other islands! Unfortunately, I just stumbled into the ending. Is it possible I missed something? Ummm, yes, it’s very possible. I think I’ll take another stab at it!
In short, cute puzzle game, but imo too short. 😃
I’ll post another review if I find anything different. 😃
Developer Response ,
Hi! Thanks so much for playing and writing a comprehensive review! The game is indeed very short, due to our small team and short development time (which is also why the game is free) but we're working on expanding it more! Follow us on twitter if you would like to stay updated: https://twitter.com/Reach_TheGame
Have you been to the second island? the sepia one? if not you could DM us on twitter or use our support form and we'll see what we can do to help! https://forms.gle/8iokznquNbRi6UXp9
I, adored this !
this is probably one of the best mobile apps i’ve come across. it’s sadly short at the moment but i’m hoping the team will come by and update the story soon! it’s so cute and the art is right up my alley, it’s just, ugh it’s so good. the story so far is quite intriguing and i’m dying to know what will happen next. even the puzzles aren’t super difficult but are enough to get your brain working and really just pulls you into the app.
the only issue i’ve had so far is the walking is kind of glitchy and bugged me a bit, but i’ve found ways around it. it was also a bit confusing on how to know when you need to tilt your phone, but you figure it out quickly lol.
overall, very nice game, looking forward to more updates!
This game actually isn’t bad. There’s no pause button or menu, it just drops you into the game, but I don’t mind. If you refresh the game, it’ll bring you back to the room you were just in so you don’t lose progress.
It was interesting, especially the way you have to tilt your phone to solve some puzzles.
Two of them stumped me but I was proud of finally figuring it out myself instead of looking it up. It was the little cylinder thing outside the second island and you have to insert it into a tube.
That one stumped me cause the little picture wasn’t clear enough. I thought it meant turn it over and that still didn’t make any sense to me.
That last puzzle was frustrating and took me awhile but oh my god when I figured it out, I couldn’t help but laugh.
Also, I was so sure I heard sound but I think it was way too quiet? I had my volume on full blast and my ringtone on but still couldn’t hear much/anything.
Other than those, the art style is so simplistic and unique and the puzzles are not too easy but doesn’t take hours to solve, I love it! Can’t wait to see when this game is finally finished!
