Fantastic and motivating app!

I absolutely love this app and it was well worth the $4 I spent on it! To be clear, I’m quite lazy a little of the time and definitely overweight and motivation to get off the couch has been my biggest obstacle in getting healthy. While I’m still not at the level of fitness I should be at, I’ve found myself exercising more and dropping a few pounds since I got this app a month ago. Just being able to go on and see how much I’ve walked today makes me want to go out and do just a little bit more each time. Whether it's just trying to get to my daily average so that it doesn’t go down, pushing harder to try and gain a little more ground on Mr. Underhill, or walking another mile or two to set a new daily record,I’m exercising a lot more just because of this app! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a big help! And by the way, it’s beautifully designed with detailed descriptions along the way! Five stars for sure!

Fun little LOTR fan exercise app!

This is one of the funnest most imaginative little apps I’ve ever seen. Must have for fans of Lord of the Rings.
The background art and animation are truly inspired and the story line is simple, fun and easy to follow.
The app creator obviously isn’t licensed from the Tolkien Estate and so has to make up approximate names for each of the milestones but the approximations are so clever you never have trouble understanding what “Halflington” is or “Comfort Hollow” or any of the other scenes familiar with the stories would know.
It’s easy to forget this is a simple pedometer at heart.
I’d give it 6 stars if it was available. Really well done.

Fun walking app!

This is a great way to engage your imagination and make your walks more enjoyable. I do have a couple of suggestions:

I like comparing my real distance to Mr. Underhill’s, but he walks like it’s his job and his life depends on it, averaging 25 miles a day while a good target for me is closer to 5 miles. It might be nice to let users select a daily target of their own and apply a bonus allowing them to keep up. In my case setting a 5 mile daily goal and multiplying it by 5 so I keep pace with Mr. Underhill. Ideally, I’d like to see both my real and modified place in comparison to him. It can be a little discouraging watching that gap widen every day, hoping maybe I can gain on him when he rests with the Elves.

I’d also like the option to use my Fitbit as my counter rather than my phone. My Fitbit is always on me, while my phone sometimes isn’t. I feel like I get robbed of almost a mile a day.

That said, I’m really enjoying the app. I love the art and the descriptions.
