PAS CONNECT 4+

PAS a streaming started about 8 years ago, when my husband got sick and couldn’t attend services in person for RH and YK…he ended up streaming from another synagogue, and when we mentioned it to our cantor, u can see on his face the change and the realization of the potential good coming from streaming synagogue services…

I understand that this realization was followed by long debates about the Halachic and other aspects of this process, but then it happened…

My husband recovered, and u attend services in person, but streaming stayed and we were able to take PAS with us wherever we go…

I listened to PAS services from the beaches of Punta Cana, to my daughter’s and granddaughter apartment in London…and share it with friends, all over the world, including Israel , where my friends are owe struck…

Having the streaming during the pandemic, was a God sent…Having the ability to pray schahrit , and Mincha/MAariv daily, gave me a structure (Keva) we all needed, and an opportunity to communicate with god and people…

Having the PAS connect app, is a natural , and very welcome addition!

It works really well, it’s easy to listen to it ( and yes u can text and email at the same time…) and it’s easy to forward the link to friends…

We are not affiliated with a synagogue since we moved here a few years ago. It was a blessing to discover your app.
The service was amazing ! My husband and I actually felt like we were there. The Rabbi s and Chosan were so real in their remarks. I am sorry we didn’t belong to Park Avenue when we lived in NYC.
Our parents belonged to Orthodox temples & we followed. But Park Avenue had all the old prayers & melodies with a modern take on the service.

All around enjoyable service; three wonderful Cantors; Rabbis Cosgrove and Zukerman give interesting and timely Dvar Torahs that I look forward to hearing them each service; accompaniment music adds to the richness of the service and virtually the audio and visual make me feel as though I am physically present. And I almost forgot, the various interviews and lectures in addition to the regular services.
