The mother ship looms silently over the sleepy countryside, dark against the clear night sky. Only a faint glow can be seen coming from a small portal in the base of the hull. As the Chief Commander of Galactic Tactical Forces, it’s your job to prevent whatever emerges from the portal from reaching the earth.
Galactic Invasion is an addictive Tower Defense-style game where you must strategically position weapons in orbit beneath an alien ship. The aliens will try to avoid the weapons at all costs by going around them. Play ends when enough aliens manage to evade your weapons and reach the earth.
- You will no longer be prompted to resume your game if the game has ended.
- The next wave of aliens will now wait the appropriate amount of time before appearing if you quit the game in between waves.
- Selecting a weapon for upgrading now displays it's current range circle.
- Attack damage for level-5 Anti-Matter Cannon was calculated wrong and has been reduced.
- Upgraded weapons now retain their power and stats when resuming a saved game.
- Cost of Photon Laser has been slightly reduced.

Not very good but has potential
It has great potential but there isn't any updates and I would like this game a lot if there was a pause button. Please update
Controls ruin a potentially fun game
First issue: this is a tech demo, not a game. Even for $2 I feel ripped off. Get Besiegement instead.
Second issue: UI issues ruin what gameplay there is. Specifically, the weapon selection dialog is very difficult to use. The left and right arrows, as well as the OK and Cancel buttons all register presses slightly offset from their screen location. (I have large-ish fingers but this is the only app I've had this problem with.)
Quick fix: pause the action while the dialog is open.
Better fix: drop the arrows; show icons for all the weapons and just touch-to-select. Drop the cancel button and make the OK button bigger. (IMO action should still slow or pause while dialog is open, so you have time to actually read the upgrade info.)
Hmm... Where's my review?
Two weeks ago I submit a review of this poorly made TD game. Creeps have no direction, they clip through my towers and do whatever the $&@! they want. Fieldrunners is 50 times better and the framework is programed much better. Do not waste your money!
For the developer: since the update, I have lost interest. Towers are too expensive, creeps are too fast and powerful starting out. GIVE THE CREEPS ONE DIRECTION AND ALLOW THE TOWER PLACEMENT TO ALTER THEIR PATH. If you insist on keeping the difficulty as it is, allow the option for the player to choose their own level. Everything in this program is sooo linear, as the player there are no options to change or modify. Absolutely rediculous. I have 10 years of TD playing under my belt and this is atrocious.
Apple, please grow up and let my reviews go through.
