Latest update deleted all accounts
I've used this app to track my kids' spend money. Latest update deleted all accounts. It no longer lets you create new accounts either. Worst update ever 😢
Tried this out to see if it could handle tracking of my different simple asset accounts. Discovered that after a certain number of accounts were added, the screen doesn't scroll down to see all of them any more. It won't even let me get to the button to add a new account anymore. When I tap edit, it only allows me to edit the name or delete the accounts that are currently in the viewing area; you can't scroll down to see the ones outside the viewing pane. I tried writing to the company first, but after over a week, I have still gotten no response from them. I don't see this issue addressed anywhere in the paid version either so the only differences I can see are the password & currency change thing which are good but don't mean much to me if I can't add ALL of my accounts. I do like the layout and simplicity of the program, though.
Good App. Excellent with some enhancements
I like this app a lot; nice job with the look and feel. The app is basically a ledger with debit left/credit right, with the current balance at the top. Unfortunately I cannot use it, as I need to project my budget into the future (annually, in my case--grouped by month) and I need to see my balances by date for all dates (past and future). My current solution is to use a spreadsheet with only four columns: date, amount (of current transaction), balance, and remarks. Hence, each row is a non-unique date (user assigned) and the corresponding values, as mentioned. This allows one to project into the future and see dates where the balance is below zero. The app is almost there. Please add date as an anchor the other values in each row, and show that date's balance at each date/row (not just the current balance at the top). With these improvements, this app is 5 stars. Export to a spreadsheet, and it's worth well over $1.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
