Description
This application lets you rotate photos. Sometimes, when holding your iPhone at a strange angle and taking a photo, the orientation of the photo is incorrect. This app lets you correct the rotation of the photo, so you can view it correctly, or upload it to a site such as facebook the correct way up.
The powerful Free rotation function allows arbitrary rotation, scaling and positioning with single and multi-touch gestures.
1. Select the photo from your camera roll or photo library
2. Rotate, mirror or manipulate the photo until it looks the way you want it to.
3. Save the rotated photo. This will save to the "Camera Roll" (for devices with a camera) or "Saved Photos" (for devices without a camera) as a new photo.
Photo Rotate supports the following operations:
*Rotate 90 degrees Clockwise
*Rotate 90 degrees Anticlockwise
*Rotate 180 degrees
*Mirror horizontally
*Mirror vertically
*Free manipulation by manually positioning. rotating and scaling (zoom in or out) with finger gestures
* Works in both portrait or landscape orientation

Limited value
The big problem with this app is that the photo is saved on the camera roll and not in the album from which it was chosen. Is there a fix? So it is of value only if you are viewing or showing someone a photo in the album or camera roll.
If you have a MAC with iPhoto, you can rotate the photo and save it. Then when you sync your iPhone or iPad to your computer the rotated version is saved in the album or wherever you rotated it.
Thus the app is of limited value.
Doesn't Work on iPad 3 iOS8.1
Great concept -- simply utility that gets around iOS' refusal to physically rotate images we upload and email (iOS instead writes orientation data into EXIF -- which only works when receiving applications decipher and follow EXIF instructions).
Downloaded and installed on my iPad 3 w/iOS8.1. I was able to "select" the photo I wanted to rotate, but touching the "rotate" button just produced an empty pop-up dialog. I was unable to change my image, at all.

Good app, does exactly what I was looking for- flip photos 90° left or right. Why rate 1 star? People do that for the stupidest reasons... Just because you didnt like an update and you're butthurt about it doesn't mean the app is still worth 1 star.
