Gun Runner is a trading game, inspired by the trading games on vintage platforms such as Dopewars.
The basic rules of trading apply. Buy low, sell high. What's cheap in one city may be expensive in another.
You’ll need to fund your operations by borrowing money. But be careful, the cost of borrowing in this world can be very high so you'll need to know the cost of goods to keep ahead of those interest charges…
To make progress you'll need to aim high. Borrow as much as you can get but only when you know what you’re going to buy and that you're getting a good price. The interest rates are non negotiable and the penalties are harsh.
And by the way the Interpol is after you. There’s nothing you can do about that, that’s the cost of doing business.
Thought a look behind the scenes might interest some of you. Below is the a snippet of code that controls some of the game variables. The multiples below are for the new version which has been submitted to Apple.

I love this game, great new interface, and the addition of a city was a great idea! The only problem is in the bank and loan shark. It doesn't always put the number I type in to the box! For example: I'll type 2 and it will show 7 or other random numbers! The only other thing is I don't like it telling me how many days are left so if u could make it optional or just take it off
getting better tweak by tweak
they improved the banking and lending screens. Some users thought they didn't work but the actual problem was a poor UI experience. Now the crashing and memory issues have been fixed it's a pretty cool game.
Ok so this game was highly appealing at first. I downloaded the the free version and played 4 28 day games and decided it was worth paying the 99 cents for the whole version to see what else I was missing. I downloaded the paid version. My first 180 day game I made like 6 billion. My 2nd 180 day game I made like 300 billion. My 3rd 180 game I made 8 trillion. My 4th 180 day game I made 27 trillion and my 5th 180 day game which I just finished playing 5 minutes ago I made 301 trillion. There is no substance to this game cause once you figured it out you figured it out. On my 301 trillion 180 day game I had an almost perfect game which tells me that if you had an absolutely perfect game the highest score possible would be somewhere around 400 trillion. The reason I'm disappointed is because once you get 7 billion which i can usually do by day 30 there are only 2 things you can buy that will earn you any money. And when you get in the trillions those two top priced commodities are pointless. Cause even if I buy 250 of the jets at 40 million and sell them the next day at 70 million I made a couple billion. But that doesn't even matter because I made 2 trillion just from my interest in the bank that day. I will say that the 99 cents I payed for this game was worth it cause it bought me 4-5 hours of entertainment but this game could have been SOO much better.
