From Skyworks®, the creators of the hit iPhone/iPod touch games WORLD CUP TABLE TENNIS™ and ARCADE HOOPS BASKETBALL™, comes another addictive classic game, ARCADE BOWLING™ LITE.

In the tradition of everyone’s favorite Boardwalk bowling game, use your fingers and steady aim to flick “laser” balls down the alley and up the ramp into the scoring holes. The further the scoring hole is, the more points you’ll get! Once the laser ball flies off the ramp, you can tilt your iPhone/iPod touch to actually influence the ball’s flight in midair! The accelerometer can adjust your aim by tilting left and right, and adjust the ball’s speed by tilting forward and back.

ARCADE BOWLING LITE features a futuristic sound track, state of the art iPhone 3D graphics, and Classic Game Mode where you roll up to nine balls to score as many points as you can.

And, if you like ARCADE BOWLING LITE, upgrade to the full version of ARCADE BOWLING™ and get many more great features including:

- PROGRESSIVE MODE – Multiple levels of game play with increasingly challenging score plateaus and bonus targets
- GLOBAL HIGH SCORE BOARDS – Compete against players around the world

If you like boardwalk bowling, you’ll love ARCADE BOWLING!

After you play ARCADE BOWLING, try ARCADE HOOPS BASKETBALL™ and other hit titles from Skyworks, including WORLD CUP TABLE TENNIS™, 3 POINT HOOPS® BASKETBALL, ARCADE QB PASS ATTACK™ FOOTBALL AND MENTAL BLOCKS® (puzzle). I first downloaded Arcade Bowling Lite in about 2009 and I can still remember the first time playing it. I was in 8th grade when my class was taking a field trip to Quebec city and I had diarrhea so bad that I could only stay huddled in the corner of my room cradling my Ipod touch, playing this game and talking to the girl I had a crush on. The game’s atmosphere evokes a feeling of having a dystopian inner city arcade all to yourself at night so it’s like I was right there in Quebec anyways. All the good times I’ve had on various toilets with this game. All the time spent tenaciously trying to get a score of 420 in classic mode. Anyways I’m sad to see this game get forgotten in the iOS 11 update but I’ll be keeping the app on my phone as long as I’m able to for memory’s sake. Even if it’s a painful reminder that it’s only the tombstone of an old friend now...

Can't turn off the sound, WAY too many ads!

It's an alright game, but once you finish the balls you have, you go to the score screen, which is really annoying since those balls go quick and you have to stop playing, and restart the game every time. You can play the "progressive game" option, but it gets very hard, very quickly. It would be really nice if there was a way to continuously play the classic version, without being interrupted.

Most annoying of all however, is that you CAN'T turn off the music! The volume just goes way down. The music and sounds always stay on.

Every time you restart the game, you have to close an ad. One game takes literally about 5 seconds to play, so you're closing an ad every five seconds in this game. Likewise, every time you return to the home screen, you're assaulted with yet more ads.

It's sad, because this could have been a very nice game. But it's not.
