More broken promises

At&t did the same to me. Convinced me to change plans that I was grandfathered in so I could save $5 a month but after a couple months the bill kept increasing. When I called they said they don’t know why but they switched my plan again. Now more expensive than the original one. Now I was locked into a contract. I thought that was the end of that for a while but after a few months my bill began increasing $6-$10 per month. After a few months it was obviously noticeable. When I called the representative said it was due to taxes but I told her that can’t be if I’m in a contract for set price . She looked at it closer and agrees that the bill is increasing and she will give me a $25 credit. I said no,please cancel my plan. She said she couldn’t because I was in contract. I said well you have been increasing my bill monthly there for you haven’t held your end of the contract either. I asked to speak to manager and then she said I could cancel. This company is a crook and takes advantage of consumers hoping you don’t notice and spend the 2 hours of your day calling them .

Horrible customer service

Just spent an hour on the phone with 2 different customer service reps trying to find an order that was placed over a week ago. Couldn’t find the order, kept telling me that I was giving them the wrong order number but I was reading it right off an email from AT&T about my order. Finally told me they were switching me to mobility customer service to track my order and finally someone answered only to basically tell me, after I repeated everything I had already told the rep about 20 times, that he didn’t have any access to my order and maybe I should try to go online to find my missing order. Wait time to talk to someone else was another 15-20 minutes after I’d already been on with AT&T for an hour. So now i’m on your website and can’t find anything relating to my order. Now i’m so angry that I will drive 45 minutes to the nearest corporate AT&T store to have my ordered canceled and I will look into changing my provider as well. We’ve been loyal customers for more years than I can count and my father worked for and retired from Bell Labs. After today, i cannot recommend AT&T to anyone and I will probably be selling my shares of stock in the company too. I have absolutely zero confidence in AT&T’s ability to even serve the customers they have. I really hope someone who gives a crap about their company reads this and does something but i’m not gonna hold my breath.

Mobile phone plan

I don’t mind using the app, however OUR HUGE problem is our mobile phone plan. We have been with AT&T mobile phones since 2005! We do not have a contract and recently our daughter, Stephanie Lovelock, took responsibility for her phone bill and chose to take her number and account to Verizon. Our entire family has now left AT&T and went with mostly Verizon. My family is over 35 adults which 7 were once on our plan. If I can’t resolve this billing issue I to will leave AT&T bc every single month my bill comes due I have billing issues which I’ve called and talked to AT&T customer services and they told me it’s resolved. I now know I should receive a text from AT&T stating our bill has been changed. We not only have mobile phones with AT&T but AT&T Uverse cable and Internet. We currently get NO package deals or any financial benefits for being 16 year loyal customers. We were charged $8.99 a month for over 2 years for an Apple ipad that was not eligible for insurance!!!!!! But you continued to charge us! We would not pay bill until it was taken off and refunded. However, finally took off IPad last month completely to stop GIVING you $8.99 a month. Now I’ve had enough I’m not paying for unlimited DATA for 2 phones when we use 2 gigabytes. So I need it fixed ASAP! Jon & Kathryn Wharton
