Ratings and Reviews
I've only had this for a short time but already I'm rapidly learning. It's really a great way to study a new language. Lot's of variety using the various quiz and game methods.
The multiple choice quiz is the right place to start because it's fairly easy. Sometimes you can just guess the answer by process of elimination, but that's okay because it still helps you learn the words at the beginning.
The puzzle game is fun to use and really does help imprint the words in your memory, especially the spelling. Of course I had to listen to the audio the first time through.
The write in quiz is the hardest but again using the audio at first really helps and after several rounds I could spell most
of the words correctly without hearing them.
I'm really pleased with this app. I've successfully done the first couple categories in a relatively short time and I'm
confident I will have built up a reasonably good vocabulary by the time I've completed the rest.
Best German 101 app
I've downloaded about a dozen intro to German apps and this is the only one I use. It's simple, easy and relevant. No worthless pictures to click through like most other intro apps (like I don't know what an apple looks like) and multiple ways to teach the same words (flashcards are the best in my opinion). Prioritization to focus the app on the few words which you just can't seem to remember. The only thing that would make this app perfect would be if we could add our own words. Definitely worth the money.
This is very usefull
I have been studying german on and off for some time now. I have some very basic vocabulary memorized but thats about it. From what i can tell this is mostly... or maybe only a vocabulary learning program. The best part i think though is that this really helps you learn how to spell, not just say, which is my weakpoint.
I would recommend this to any beginner or anyone who wants to be able to review once in a while.
This app is legitimately good, even for $8.
