MyFlightbook 4+

I’ve been using MyFlightbook for 2 years now and have been very happy. It has every feature you could ask for - stored in the cloud, web access, iPad and iPhone apps… and at FREE, the price is far better than the other options out there!

The app developer is a private pilot who undertook the project as a labor of love, and has been very responsive to questions and suggestions. He has built in very powerful tools for those of us who need to upload data from our old logbook, and has made it super simple to keep a backup of all your data, in a format that can be read by any spreadsheet.

I recommend MyFlightBook to all my students and pilot friends. Give it a try - the price is right!

I share a Foreflight account with my husband, but we can only use their Logbook feature for one person so I started shopping the other brands. This one does the trick! Gives me everything the Foreflight one gives. Keeps track of currency and is super easy to search hours in specific tailnumbers etc. Once you switch from your written logbook, you will be so pleased with how easy it is to calculate totals. I took the time to transfer over 1000 hours of flights individually into the electronic logbook and it really wasn’t that big of a deal. But I think you can do a quick start option instead. I had two instances of water spilling on my paper logbook when it was packed in luggage and I won’t be risking that anymore!

I recently got hired at a job that doesn’t use foreflight so I let it expire. I had all my log entries on foreflight so I saved it all before the expiration date. My plan was to transfer it all to LogTen pro since that’s what all my coworkers use. MyFlightbook was mentioned to me and I did some research, asked the customer service a few questions, and I don’t know why I haven’t been using this all along. My foreflight logbook transferred over in less than 10 minutes (probably could have been 5 minutes but I’m not very smart). The photos of the aircraft in each of my entries is a nice touch and I can see a map of where I flew that day. It’s the little things... easy 5 star review from me.
