Classroom Use
Great in the the classroom and small groups. By having a nice large timer for everyone to see it helps me and my students to stay on track with or planned schedule. It also helps act as a large visual reminder to me when I tell the students that they have 5 minutes to read an article, it forces me to give them the full, uninterrupted 5 minutes to read.
Simply fantastic
The giant timer is amazing! Not only is it perfect for around the house everyday timer, but it is perfect for educators, and for anyone who wants a simple... I underscore SIMPLE.... Timer. I use it in my classroom first and foremost, but as a speech and debate judge it is invaluable. After using it at just 1 debate meet our high school coach added the app to the class set of iPads for the students to time themselves on speeches and on debate intervals. As the year progressed other coaches added them to their arsenal of tools. Finally this year our school added iPads in Mobil units for our high school this app was consider a staple and added to all 120 iPads. One word sums it up PERFECT!
Perfectly functional
This app does exactly what it's supposed to do; the adds are discrete and non-distracting, the numbers are clear, and it's simple to use. The paid version will allow more colors, no adds, and for the app to be used at the same time as others, but if you need a basic stopwatch/timer, this is the one to get.
I do wish that the timer wouldn't pause when the low-battery message appears, but that's minor.
