BPM Studio calculates Beats Per Minute (BPM or the "Tempo") of the music you are listening, using the device microphone.
No need to tap.
A new multi-frequency algorithm is implemented to search BPM patterns in various frequencies and show the best matched one.
Now supports iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Please note that for Apple Watch mode, the application will rely on iPhone internal microphone to take the audio samples and perform the processing.
The app works better in presence of well marked 4-quarters beat music, with well defined bass sounds: the presence of a sub-woofer or high quality sound system as source is recommended.
Use it on the dance floor!
Brand new multi-frequency detection algorithm.
Rewritten to support latest iOS and watchOS versions.
Support for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Please note that in this version there is no more the "set target" feature that was present in previous versions: if you need that, please do not update (for now!).

This app is trash
Garbage in, Garbage Out
I've been waiting for some "algorithm" self-appointed genius to come up with exactly this type of product. In my search, I admit: I've purchased every bpm analyzer ever offered on the iPhone.
This one is especially feeble. While bragging that he has "invented an algorithm which produces bpm without tapping," the seller has done NOTHING. ZERO. NADA.
Trust me: a free tap app will beat this 1,000 out of 1,000.
Absolutely nothing here but the desperate attempt at a good thing - a GREAT thing: if it worked.
WHEREFORE it does not even come CLOSE to it's bombastic promises, I urge you to check it out for yourself. I am just one man, this is only my *savagely candid* assessment. Yours may be worse! I will not complain about money "lost" - tried it - it failed - reasonable attempt---> move on.
