Convenient and not
This app provides convenience and it's true they are the mobile versions of each social site, but I did not give it more stars is because having to constantly having to sign into my twitter account. And when in Facebook it doesn't show that I have a message when in fact I do! One great compliment is the fast speed of posting on Facebook! 10 times faster than the official Facebook app which feels like I'm on a very slow dial up connection, ugh!
Good Job!
I really like the set-up of the app, with the buttons across the bottom for the chat you want. They also notify visually on those icons when you have a message. It does pop up on your home screen, w/ a sound as well, when a message arrives, but only if the app is running. When timing out, a pop-up notification will come up on you home screen to ask if you want to close the app or keep it open. I wish there were one more feature: to be able to choose your own preference for the length of time to keep the app running, or else a push feature that wouldn't depend on if the app were open. Good features for $1.99. Oh yeah....needs emoticons, too. And bigger text for us old farts.
Great compromise between native and web apps
Native apps don't have all the functionality (Facebook primarily), web-apps can't be backgrounded except in safari, which is clunky. This app combines a native environment with the complete feature set of the web-app.
I didn't need the extra apps, but I wanted to show my support for the dev, so i bought the full version... keep up the great work!
