Description

Start recording. Double-tap to pause or single-tap to stop. Uploads to Dropbox automatically. It's that simple.

• Universal app, running equally well on iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad.
• MP3 audio files sound great while saving bandwidth and Dropbox storage.
• Accessible with VoiceOver for the visually impaired.

Imagine if your digital camera stopped and asked you to name each photo after you took it or popped up a file system for you to choose where to save it. This is how most voice recorders work on iOS; always getting in your way.

RecUp is streamlined to record and upload voice memos to Dropbox; there’s no need to name files or choose where to send them. If you need more control, RecUp might not be right for you.

Visit the RecUp Support link to read the full user guide.

RecUp requires a Dropbox account. Sign up for 2GB of FREE Dropbox storage at http://www.dropbox.com/register

Link to Dropbox using either App Folder (default; more secure) or Full Access (allows shared folders). Visit the RecUp Help page for more details.

What’s New

Version 3.3.1

IMPORTANT: This update might need you to re-authenticate once and might start with the link screen. This allows RecUp to update your credentials to Dropbox' new authentication system.
---
Fixed critical UI issues.
More flexible window resizing under macOS.
Better display of saved recordings when disconnected/unlinked from Dropbox.

Fantastic app

Great app, highly recommended. Simple and elegant and works flawlessly. I just wish there was an option to have the app icon's badge indicate the number of unplayed recordings I have, because currently, I make voice notes for myself, using the app as a sort of to do list, and then I forget for a few days that I have recordings to play back.. :-) I have to remember myself to periodically check the folder on my mac. But still is a 5-star app no doubt. [Update: I set up web service Zapier and used their "Get email alerts for new Dropbox files in a directory" zap, and connected it to the RecUp folder in my Dropbox folder. Now my RecUp recordings get automatically emailed straight to me, which means I no longer forget about them, and they get archived in my email account, so I can clear them out of Dropbox and know that I still have them saved somewhere.]

Fantastic app with great support

I've been using Dropvox for years and it has never let me down. Recently, when I couldn't find the app in the App Store (to install it on my new device), I reached out to Irradiated Support and got an immediate response. As soon as the update was available in the App Store, I got a follow up notification from Irradiated as promised.

This app has been a lifesaver so many times. I've come to rely on it so much and knowing that the support for the app is taken so seriously makes the product even better.

Excellent robust app for capturing ideas when they happen.

I have used this app for years to capture ideas, things to do, tidbits of info, etc. Nothing ever lost. I can then re-organize the entries in this queue into folders and such from a computer if necessary. this app has single-handedly prevented me from losing track of many things.
