Must have for common core.
I am reading the other reviews and since I plan to review all the apps I use from this publisher I will comment on them also. I too wish the app had a broader range of fractions, but for learning the concept itself IMO and for me it is best to start small. If they made a more advanced app I would likely purchase it. I would not use the advanced app i.e. larger number fractions to teach the lesson itself. Next one person said they wished it saved progress. I understand and see where they are coming from but since it is only 10 questions I have yet to have a student complain about starting over... 4th graders are so flexible. I think not having that feature was overshadowed by the fun fact they got to use the iPad. Also on the lesson you can move back and forth between each page so you can easily pick up where you left off. Students are smart and unlike me they will likely remember exactly where we left off before I do. I hope this helps. It's just how I use it. I do like the suggestions though because I teach multiple levels now it would be great for my older students to have those features. This would be too remedial for my older students. It was great for 4th grade.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
