Description
It's finally here, Bassmaster app V6.0. It's clean, quick, easy to use - and updated for all the latest iPhone and iPad devices. Get back out there and catch more fish.
This application is for beginner to pro anglers, to help find and catch more fish. It is designed primarily for freshwater fishing, with bass as the main target species. The interface queries for several "conditions", then posts results based on weather, wind, water clarity and more. The results page tells anglers where to fish, the best bait to use, color, size, sound, line type, direction, location and more. It also has a library with tips and techniques, including details on topics like structure, waves, currents and more. There are also details on different fish species from bluegill to perch and pike.
There is an equipment section with lures and suggested baits, including details, designs, colors and some fishing combinations. There are a few special bait techniques that are great for targeting bunker/trophy fish. Bassmaster app will help you find more, and bigger bass - and use the right lures, colors, and additional tips to catch them.

The latest revision of Bassmaster app has a cleaner look, works faster on the latest OS, and has new lures and tips to give anglers a better toolbox to work with. Don't let a tough bite get you down, pop up this app and let it help you find the bite. Utilizing the latest iPhone and iPad graphics, Bassmaster app has never been as smooth and easy to use as it is now. Additional items have been added to the library and equipment, and the limited fish log was removed. This new release was a long time coming, but V6.0 is a great updated platform relevant for years to come.
Ratings and Reviews
Handy app
The interface could use some work (such as scrolling the whole page when viewing items, instead of a small text window "frame" at the bottom -- which is very clunky and difficult to scroll). More information for items in the library (ie: fishing line could elaborate on the pros/cons of each type instead of simply describing them). Overall a decent app.
Very iffy
Considering this app costs money it should have more information like what lures or bait to use for which particular fish, how to use that lure or bait, and add a thing or two about rods,reels, and line which are a really big factor. Add a little more info maybe some more pictures and I will rate 5 star all day and recommend to everyone.
Lots of Potential
It's an informative app BUT it needs to have the seasons as a choice for what lures to use and also more then just large/small mouth. It has a choice to look up a lot of fish now add the condition onto that and give the user feedback on best lure for that species and conditions.
