**Having Trouble with the Music Box game? It's not broken! Just open it up and begin to tap the screen to add dots. Be sure the dots connect to one another. Eventually, you'll see a polka-dotted dot appear. Double tap that dot and the music will begin to play. **

Ratings and Reviews
Intriguing, but ...
Seems really interesting, but I think something is up with the sound ... As in there is none in "Music Box," except for some scratchy sounds. Hopefully this will get fixed in an update!
Bright dots + great sounds
I wasn't sure how a book would translate into an app but this was pretty amazing. The app has an opening screen of 3 rows of dots. To begin, you just start pressing the dots and exploring. Each dot brings you to a different game/activity. My favorite activity is "Rain" You can make it rain and control the rain out of the colorful dots. It's not only fun to watch, but the audio is sooooo soothing. Make sure to have the sound on or your headphones in because the fun audio really made my experience.
The games don't have insturctions which is totally part of the fun. I love t that you can just start pressing the dots on the screen and see what happens.
Should have read the reviews before purchasing
I have 3 complaints ( that many others have had as well):
I bought this because my 15 month old loves the "Press Here" book but gets too excited and, sadly, has ripped several of the pages. I really wish there was a board book version but I was excited to see an app available as the 'story' seems like it would adapt wonderfully to a touch screen format. And hey, it's the digital age after all.
I was bewildered to discover that the book's simple narrative game is nowhere to be found in this app. My disappointment was initially countered by the promise of many other games based on the books premise but that excitement quickly vanished when I realized that the games are confusing and yet all basically the same thing; tap and a dot appears.
Worst of all, there's no sound which - despite the developers chipper assurance that you just need to tap MORE - seems to be an actual bug as no amount of tapping or Settings changes has resulted in sound.
