Nice app that has room for improvement
It really has added something to my outlook as an endurance athlete, particularly as I approach 50. My legs feel fresh and I have logged more marathons in one year than ever before since using this program, including two of my fastest three and a new P.R.
That said, I'd love to see it be switchable to landscape view (which would be easier to read from my arm band) and to allow for some nuance in training pace... For now, at least as far as I have been able to figure out, options are limited to one-minute increments, so one cannot train on a plan for an 8:20 mile, but only an 8:00 or 9:00 mile.
Finally, the app sometimes (rarely) freezes when measuring a timed run, such that one must rely on a watch or other means to know when to quit.
Note that music bought on iTunes cannot be synced to the app, so keep this in mind when choosing tunes.
Really good running training App
Having run alot earlier I started running again after a break of 10 years and 10 kg...
The features run and walk with synchronized music pace has been fantastic. My knees have not started to ache and its worked with 3 runs + 1 walk per week for the last year with both 26.2 and 13.1 mile programs.
The possibility to adjust music level separately from coaching voice level is very good.
The team has improved on the GPS tracking and provided lots of support when asked.
This has been great for far. On week 6 now. This is my first marathon using this app and my second marathon ever. I already now I am going to pr big time! Only thing I wish they would change is the option to create my own intervals. Wish I could try a different interval besides the set ones
