Description

Available exclusively for Netflix members.

Leave no survivors. In this sequel, you're Skullface, a killer stuck inside a retro horror movie catalog — solve puzzles, stalk victims and get stabby.

So, somebody thought it would be a great idea to summon Skullface, Slayaway Camp’s violentest killer, and now he’s trapped inside a very familiar-looking streaming service. That means hundreds of potential new victims splattered across classic movie genres, and — let’s face it — those unsuspecting innocents aren’t going to decapitate themselves. Your hall pass for retro horror awaits!

Step into Skullface’s blood-soaked boots or choose from a murderous lineup of horror monsters like Gourd Head, the Killer Fridge and Demon Doll. This funny tribute to ‘80s horror invites you to perfect the art of the scare. Maneuver through sliding block logic puzzles, find hiding spots, collect special weapons and unleash gruesome finishers to elevate your kills and escalate your score.

Rack up star ratings to unlock an expanding horror universe packed with new genres, settings, slayers and stunts.

Features:

• Outwit and overwhelm: Solve intricate sliding logic puzzles to trap, slash and corner your victims. Creative kills garner top ratings. Strategy is key.
• Collect to kill: Collect stars to unlock new genres of movies to infiltrate, creepy new monsters, minigame challenges and bonus puzzles.
• Genre-specific slaughter: Slide into unique streaming content categories like "Dark Violent Family Comedies," "Law Enforcement Laughs" and "Long, Overly Literal Titles" — seriously, who wrote these?
• Unlock the unthinkable: Collect hidden weapons and unshackle new executioners equipped with devastating special moves that bring even more mayhem and gore.

Love this game

I am a huge 80’s movie fan so this game is perfect for me but there are some bugs with the kill scenes like one of the arms when stick it in a victim head disappears or when you rip out a victims heart the heart is invisible I do hope you fix this but other than that i love the game fix those animations and I’ll rate 5 stars.

Best for fans of 1980s-90s Slasher flicks

Let’s put this upfront. There are no in-game purchases. As you complete each movie, you are rewarded with credits used to unlock more movies and a wide variety of slasher characters. Nope, you can’t purchase anything with real money. This is not a pay to win game. That being said, it does require you to have an active Netflix subscription to play the game. The game starts out pretty easy, and slowly ramps up difficulty as you play along. If you’re stuck, you can get a hint or see a preview of the whole puzzle solution from beginning to end. Don’t worry, it doesn’t require currency and there is no penalty either. You could cheat and just follow all the solutions to finish the game, but what fun would there be in that? The killings are gruesome and gory as expected, and the game takes place in mockups of 80s and 90s slasher movies which you’ll probably recognize. The biggest difference with this game from Friday the 13th and the first Slayaway Camp is the character moves step-by-step rather than sliding like a puzzle. That new mechanic actually allows you a lot more gameplay killing opportunities. As with previous games, you can also rewind moves if one of the victims escapes or you die. There is no time limit, so nothing to stress over. The puzzles are moderately difficult, the graphics pretty good and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the sheer low budget slasher flick “campiness” of it all. So to speak… 💀

Different from the original, but great

Like the original, it starts out very easy and gets progressively harder. The play mechanics are very different (you can move one square at a time, for one thing), which disappointed me at first, but ultimately I think they make the game more complex.

Edit: as another user has noted, there’s a bug on piranhas on a plane, level 3, 3rd screen
