Description

Progress Knight is a life-sim incremental based in a fantasy/medieval setting, where you must progress through the career ladder and acquire new skills to become the ultimate being.

You first start off as a beggar, barely being able to feed yourself as the days go by. However, over the years you learn new skills and gain plenty of work experience to enter new high paying jobs while managing your living expenses...

Will you decide to take the easy route of doing simple commoner work? Or will you go through harsh training to climb the ranks within the military? Or maybe will you decide to study hard and enrol in a magic academy, learning life-impacting spells? Your career path is open-ended, the decision is up to you.

Eventually, your age will catch up to you. You will be given an option to prestige and gain xp multipliers (based on the performance of your current life) for your next life at the cost of losing all your levels and assets. Fear not though, as you will re-gain your levels much, much more quickly than in your previous life...

After multiple rebirths, the paths of good and evil beckon you. Will you embrace the darkness, becoming a formidable force that strikes fear into the hearts of others? Or will you choose the path of righteousness, embodying the essence of purity and compassion?

This remastered version integrates the base game from ihtasham42, featuring a complete graphic/UI redesign and new exclusive content (choose your path between evil or angelic).

Estimated total gameplay time: 50 hours (without boosts).

This game is amazing, but…

So yes this game is amazing, in my opinion. It’s a phenomenal time passer with very fun and linear progression. Everything works great in regards to performance, never crashed or lagged. You can even remove the ads for just $2.99 which I found super worth it, this also allowed me to skip boost ads to get the benefits of the boosts instantly. If you don’t buy that pack, you’re fine; the ads are only about 5 seconds long and then you can skip it. The ONLY down side to this game, is that you are going to get hooked and grind all the way to the final stages of the game and WILL get stuck. You will have all the items and houses and there will be nothing left to strive for. Yes you can level your skills and jobs infinitely (which is content in itself), it’s definitely rewarding to be able to equip the new item and/or house because your job makes you enough money finally. So in short, the game is great I highly recommend it, just remember that eventually you will be done with the “main” progression system. Other than that, the gameplay of this game is an absolute 5. I will just refrain to the 4 star because this review also reflects the activity of the devs and their future plans for the content in this game.

Devs if you read this, it would be great to have updates on those kinds of things where you release more items/houses for more boosts and more longevity to the game. I would definitely rate it a 5 star game if this were the case.

Not bad. Lacking a bit in features

I am a huge fan of Progress Knight Mobile and jumped on this one when I saw it. Visually, it is spiffier and I like the that the skills have little flavor cards. Being able to choose an avatar is nice and I really like that it ages as time goes on and looks different if you choose the evil or good path.

It is a bit bare bones though if you are coming from playing PKM. It seems to follow almost the exact same progression, save for the flavor of being able to choose “good” early on, but is missing a few jobs from TAA and doesn’t really make it worthwhile over the military path, save for unlocking the spells, which are a bit basic and fewer as well. The shop tells the same story. Pretty much the same progression, except for missing a few.

Overall, the visual upgrade is a big improvement imo. It’s a bit limiting In features, but it’s also very new and I hope to see updates and improvements for the future. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one. Lots of potential.

Great Game

Great game. Definitely orients around active play, as opposed to many idle games where you run out of stuff to do fairly quickly. There is an ending, and it hints at more content. Not sure how i will ever find out about it, which makes me a bit sad. The fact that it ends is great.

Ads are totally optional, and not obtrusive. I think its worth 3 bucks to remove them, not because they are annoying, but because i want to support the developer. I wish there were more games like this on the app store: simple, well made, and entertaining.
