Description
Ophaya Pro+ is an app that supports a smart handwriting pen. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with notebooks, handwriting pads, and B5 paper through its dedicated app. This allows users to write in a traditional manner while enjoying the convenience of instant digital storage, quick retrieval, and easy sharing of written content. With the ability to write both online and offline, Ophaya Pro+ preserves the familiarity of traditional writing habits while providing real-time digital capture. During the writing process, users have the flexibility to change font size and color on the fly. Additionally, the pen supports simultaneous audio recording while writing. When played back, the written strokes and audio are synchronized for a comprehensive review.

This app requires the Ophaya pen with Ophaya paper, notebook, and/or electronic tablet.
I've had my set since Christmas 2023, and it has significantly reduced my note-taking paper waste. I mostly use the tablet. In my case, it is the Boogie Board version of their tablet.
I'm a sloppy writer. I always have been. I find that the handwriting OCR feature does a much better job of reading my writing than most similar software. In fact, I've only found one app that does a better job, but the pricing is exaggerated: more than the cost of the Ophaya pen plus I still need to use paper and then use the phone's camera to take a picture for the reader.
The only recommendation I have is to make sure you have enough light. The pen needs to "see" what is written to record it; then the software can do its job. Also, if you sync from your pen with notes already in the tablet section, it WILL overwrite your last note. The workaround I found is to choose not to sync. Then save and/or OCR the older notes, delete them, and then go into the pen and choose sync. It's a bit of a pain, but no lost notes.
The latest update, adding the ability to erase, is something I've been hoping for and is so helpful. It doesn't erase your tablet or paper, but it does erase from the software, which helps with the handwriting recognition a lot.
Just remember to use the next page button for every new page, and you're good to go.
