Dark Forest Survivor 12+

I’ve reached level 5-6? and there is nothing but a grey screen and it seems like it’s raining. The character is there with his torch, but I can’t see anything but grey, and I can’t tell if I’m going anywhere. I’ve done the high level IT thing of turning it off and on again several times but so far no change. Any help would be welcome. I don’t see where the developers comment on other people’s posts so I’m pretty sure they won’t have any input. It’s a shame. It was a fun game.

I have some fuel to give to the boat still needed 95 fuel went all over the map two or three times asked the hunter while try the hunters several times no fuel I kept going back in hopes of a pop up fuel for a video add. Finally this morning allowed for the little pop-up to get 200 fuel for watcher video so I did that put the fuel on the boat and I gotta buy five fuel for 20 oil and I’ve done that twice watching the video ad that takes away the hour timer to get the five fuel. How many times am I gonna have to do this before Hunter gives me something else to do should’ve been an option before I needed the fuel not after I already acquired and spent the fuel I needed. Makes me think that nobody’s made it to this point yet so you guys hadn’t finished making the game. I couldn’t find any kind of help trying to find fuel walk-throughs online and in the first part.

Well, I guess this is where they ended the game because the hunter still wants to trade oil for fuel and the box to fill the boat after I put 95 more gas cans into it move to the side of the house where my guy can’t even get it I guess this is the end of the game but I’ve had to do two updates since the first paragraph in this review and I still can’t progress, so it must be the end of the game.

It’s a fun and clever game. I really like the artwork too.

But the timers for crafting or trading only count during active play, which means no toggling or off game time crafting, even though they’re automatic timers. These can be skipped by watching ads, so I get trying to get your ads viewed for money, but when there’s a timer for 1 hour — there’a no way to complete it without watching an ad.

This makes your game an ad-watching game, since there is really no other choice. Add the fact that any time you view your backpack/inventory or walk over the “shop” access box (just walk over it, not select it) a pop up ad appears — it just makes it a very ad heavy game.

When you have to be in the game for an hour or watch an ad for 5 fuel, and the quest requires 100 fuel — you’re either inside the game (no toggling!) for 20 hours, or you have to watch 20 ads.

I don’t mind watching an ad to speed up some crafting, but 20 hours in game time is not achievable, so you have to watch 20 ads — 20.

Also, running your game to try to reach 20 hours, my battery dies within 4 hours and it makes my phone incredibly hot.

Please alter the timers to run while not within the game. We’ll still watch the ads to speed up crafting.
