I think this game has some crazy potential and is honestly better than prime bitlife to a certain extent. It has some great life features that bitlife probably would and have hid behind micro transactions. if this game updates consistently it will honestly out class any other text based life sim out there. probably my one and only gripes is bugs (which comes with any game) and the ui, I believe some changes and updates to mainly thee ui and bug fixes would make this excellent game a 20/10 experience for me; and maybe also sound. but other than that little pet peeve this game is a amazing experience if you want a refresher from some of these other scammy life sims and offers a good realistic experience as best as it can being limited to text only.

There's a ton of different paths to take and in that regard it's definitely better than BitLife. Theres still a lot of bugs that need to be worked out but I can see this being pretty good. Real estate is hard to get into because of the bugs making the game crash and there tends to be issues with the mentor/ally/rival system if you switch jobs. One thing that'd be great is to be able to switch to other jobs within the same industry. Other than that this games got a lot of potential and is a lot of fun to play
Promising Game

Verdant is a pretty promising life sim. The level of detail is practically unmatched. For a single developer this is incredible. I do feel that the UI is very bad with the layout of controls and tabs, but that is not a dealbreaker and is likely to be changed eventually. The game also has a relatively difficult learning curve compared to games like Bitlife, and my first two lives died before the age of 35 due to homelessness and overwork. (Third life was a multibillionaire since I got the hang of it though). I look forward to continuing this game and seeing where it goes. A game for the developer to be proud of. I do feel like some of the wording in the game was written with AI due to phrasing peculiarities that I associate with AI, but there is no proof and for such a good game, I really don’t care. Current rating is 4/5 and could be revised in the future.

Found this game on Reddit and do not regret it at all. Game has a bunch of potential especially for how early it is. Been trying to find a game similar to BitLife and this is it, it has even more than BitLife already and seems rlly ambitious, just hope to see the ui change in the future bc it’s rlly bland rn, and also the characters being just emojis is a bit meh, just small things. Can’t wait to see the growth
