Great airline but app needs improvement

I am American and have flown Azul before. I was very pleased with my travel experience and appreciate that there’s no hidden seat selection fees like other airlines. The site could be upgraded for foreign users. It did not have options to properly enter my address or phone number so hopefully it all works out!

Flight Missed

I went traveling overseas to Brazil and had local flights within my trip. Arrived in São Paulo (VCP), coming from Orlando (MCO), and was ready to catch a flight from São Paulo (CGH) to Curitiba, the day after. I tried to make my check in on the app in the morning, 90 minutes prior to the flight. The app showed no available seats, all of them were showing blocked which I found weird. Tried to call several times and spoke to a computer with no success. Headed to the airport arriving 45min before the flight when I learnt that tge flight was closed (local rules are 30min before flight). Then I realized that the flight was overbooked. I had to buy another ticket and wait over 5hs for my flight. Very bad customer service and an awful traveling experience.

Horrible Experience

We bought the tickets eight months ago. Our seats been changed three times without let us know we pay more for the extra plus Azul they change airplanes never told us move us to the regular economic class. We spent two hours with customer service paid for an upgrade for the prime seats today when we went to check in, they move us back to the economic class without letting us know. I spend another hour contacting customer service. They told us they didn’t know what happened to the prime class to just go tomorrow to the airport and try upgrade or get my money back.
