Great practice targeting an essential skill
This game is a lot of fun and it is challenging. I really wish it had been available when my kids were taking Spanish because they could have used fun practice conjugating verbs. The instructions are minimalist, as is the information. For instance, if you don’t know how a tense impacts the meaning of a word, you won’t learn it from this app because it only explains the meaning of the infinitive. If the developer can find a way to squeeze that information into the game, it would be even better. Which tense means “used to bring”? Traer plus some ending, I know, but which one? Great app! Thanks for making it available!

Hi Sourdough Lady,
thanks a lot for your kind words. It's great to read you are enjoying Verb Challenge Spanish. Regarding your "I used to bring" question. The tense that corresponds to that structure is Imperfecto - Indicativo. If you want to read sample sentences for each tense pause the game while playing a level and you'll see the current tense explanation, common uses and examples.
Great Concept, But Unnecessarily Frustrating
My Spanish is pretty decent— enough to converse with my students’ parents. I thought this app would be a great way improve upon my tenses and conjugations. However, I have not been able to build even one complete pyramid, because I keep selecting a pronoun only to find that there are no matching suffixes on the screen. This type of skill-building game should not be so frustrating.

I'm sorry you feel this way about Verb challenge Spanish. Thanks a lot for your feedback.
If you cannot find the right ending for the pronoun you selected you can overwrite it by tapping any other pronoun. Actually you can overwrite any selected block by taping a different one from the same category.
I'll upload a soon as possible and update making the sun go slower in practice mode. I hope this helps.
fun, but needs verb tense translations
the app is fun to use, but it would be helpful if there were translations beyond the root verb. i can figure out how to put together verbs, but it doesn’t help me to remember what the different tenses (present-future, imperfect, indicative, subjunctive-future, etc.) actually mean - so i have no idea what i’m conjugating most of the time.
it also doesn’t look complete. for example there are no exercises for past tense or the “used to ____” verb forms.

Hi Lazlo, thanks a lot for your feedback.
There are 4 past tenses in the game for you to play and practice: Indicativo-Imperfecto (amaba), Indicativo-Indefinido (amé), Subjuntivo-Imperfecto (amara), Subjuntivo- Imperfecto (amase). When in play or practice mode you can pause the game to get a full explanation of the tense as well as bilingual examples. In order to see bilingual examples make sure to set English language in the settings.
I hope this helps. Please, let me know if there is any other feature you would like to see in Verb Challenge Spanish.
