Beauty Keeper is a stylish, easy to use and handy app that tracks expiry dates of your beauty products, reminds you when it is time to replace them, and helps to determine production and best before dates encoded by manufacturer.

- Reading the batch codes for more than 880 beauty brands.
- Calculating the period of time when the item is safe to use after opening for 60 types of cosmetic products.
- Automatic reminders about items near their expiry dates.

Many manufacturers use a special code that consists of digits and letters instead of usual date format. Our app helps you to determine best before date of beauty products via the batch code right in the store. We can do it for more than 880 beauty brands.

The application calculates and remembers how long the product is safe to use after opening. For this purpose we provide more than 60 types of beauty and care products to choose from. You can free your mind for more pleasant thoughts.

The app will notify you one month before the product will expire. The second reminder comes up as the product needs to be replaced. Beauty Keeper saves your list of cosmetics not only to your iPhone, but also to iCloud, therefore all your reminders will not be lost in the case of changing your phone.

Browse your list of beauty products, expand your collection. Use only fresh beauty products.

Good, But Missing Some Brands

This app is accurate. I sat and double (and triple, sometimes even quadruple) checked everything before tossing stuff. Didn’t want to trash a bunch of stuff blindly. This app has most brands, but not all of them (Colorpop, Becca, Ciate, etc). I didn’t like that most sites are free and this one snuck in a $2 charge. But for the ease of use, which is pretty much what this does best, I spent the money. I will for sure keep using it. But would really like to see more brands supported. As well as little tidbits like how often batch codes are recycled by each individual company and exactly how many months old something is. Other companies are doing this for free so...

Great concept but can’t find anything

I love makeup and skincare plus couponing and doing reviews. Mix those things together and you end up with A LOT of product. When I saw the information for this app in an article I read, I loved the concept! I was just about to purge everything and donate to a bunch of different shelters. I wanted to make sure that I didn’t give away anything expired. After an hour of trying to look up products, I had yet to even find one. I can see some products not being listed but at this point I had tried to look up at least 100 different items. I kept the app for a few weeks to keep trying and I still haven’t been able to locate even one product.

I think this is one of the best app ideas I have seen in awhile. I do hope there are some updates in the future so I am able to use it but for the time being, I am going to delete for extra space on my phone.

Missing brands and lacks organizational features

The premise of this app is good. I’m glad I have it. However, it is missing some major brands, such as Colourpop, Tarte, Huda Beauty, etc. Would love to see major makeup brands added.

I wish that there was a way to collapse categories so you don’t have to view them. For example, if I want to look at skincare, I have to scroll through every single makeup product I entered. I wish I could collapse that category for efficiency.

I also wish there was a way to sort within a category for expiration dates. I subscribe to a couple of major subscription boxes, which means I have skincare galore in backups. I wish I could see what moisturizer/serum/eye cream was going to expire next so that I know to use that one next when I use one up.

It would be nice if there was an empties or trash category too. If you have to through away a foundation because it expired (for example) I wish it let you save it somewhere so you could get the shade/finish again. But that is small potatoes compared to other features it’s lacking.

The premise of this app is great. It’s just missing features that seem like the next logical step after entering.
