It's almost too good to be true…
First, let me say that I have been looking for a decent voice dictation app for Windows these past few years, and with the exception of Google docs, everything out there is junk. So when I saw the description for this app, I was more than a little skeptical, especially when I looked it up online and saw that it was more or less a hobby app (I.e., made by a developer on his spare time).
Turns out, I was completely wrong. This thing does exactly what it says it does, with the exact same precision you get on your iphone. There's no delay sending the text to the computer screen, and the app puts the text exactly where the cursor is. Pretty straightforward. Super awesome.

I was skeptical to pay two dollars for this app but I took a chance and it could not have been easier to set up. It works as advertised and is great in that it allows you to get further value out of the powerful dictation on the iPhone. Although windows and OS X on Mac are quite comparable in many regards, it's great to be able to benefit from OS X's superior, Nuance-powered voice dictation despite using a Windows device. Until Windows improves its voice dictation offerings, myEcho is my go-to app for desktop voice dictation.
A nice backdoor way to get accurate voice dictation onto your PC
Granted, the voice dictation on even the most recent iOS update are often frustrating. But, it's useful enough forget a quick text and emails. Using this app you can, in real time, send Voice dictation to your PC. I sometimes use this to dictate long email. But sometimes it's still faster to write them be a keyboard. Definitely now, it's great to have this as an option.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
