Praise for Dungeon Heroes the board game:
“It is definitely a strategy game that is surprisingly thought provoking in the variable actions to be taken. It is harder than you’d expect and deliciously fun. “ – David Lowry
“This is a game that really keeps on giving. It has a wealth of interesting strategic and tactical options for both sides.” – mechanicalgamer.com
“There is a great ebb and flow to the game, where you think things are going very poorly for you, but then you discover a solution and see a way to seize victory.” – Blue Steel, BGG User Review

User Interface Improvements Requested
First off, I think Dungeon Heroes is a great little board game. I was fortunate to play this game first as a face-to-face board game, which I still would prefer, but the 2-player pass-and-play mode is nice on here. The arcade mode is fun, but really is much different from the 2-player game.
The hardest part about playing this game on a phone is that the place that you need to tap is so tiny in order to activate the Wizard or Cleric ability or to do something with an item. I tried playing this on a phone first, but it wasn’t until I tried again on an iPad that I could see where those tapping spots were at. Maybe if the entire picture of the character was a button for abilities along with items, it might be easier to do. I almost feel like a stylus might be best to play this on a phone.
My other complaint is about the online game for 2-players. Trying to get an opponent online is nearly impossible. Even trying to play against a person in my own house via online-play is difficult to get started. Also, I seem to get random notifications that it’s my turn on an online game that is still waiting for my opponent. This happens even if I send an invitation to a specific person.
Overall, I love playing this little game, and probably play everyday at least one on Brutal Arcade Mode. I would just like to see some user interface improvements.
Love this game. It's really the beets as a multiplayer game. I do pass and play. The game is one of those simple to play but takes time to master. I enjoy the two different roles that can be played.
There is a tutorial and instructions with the game.
Looking forward to updates. Would be great if debs went out on a limb and developed a 3 and 4 player mode.
My review from the last version still stands. I rarely beat level one. When I do, it's usually with having had a character die, which then does NOT return in the next round, making it virtually impossible. A game where you cannot beat level one should not be praised for being challenging, it's just not fun. Games, while needing to provide a challenge, also need to provide enjoyment and playability. Plus, it's unnecessarily difficult. Why no ranger for ranged attacks? Why do my other characters not have attacks? What are there twice as many bad guys and they all have better attack range and capabilities? I just think this could all be easily avoided.
