Our story began in 1972 when two Cousins, Bill Specht and Jim Sheppard, set out to bring their favorite style of sub sandwich from the East Coast to their new hometown of Milwaukee, Wis. Staying true to our founders’ legacy, we continue to Believe in Better—both in the quality of food we serve and in the communities we support.
When it comes to the food we serve, we believe that Quality Has No Substitute. That’s why after 40+ years, we continue to serve deli-fresh and made to order grilled subs using only the freshest ingredients on our signature bread baked daily. We slice our meats, cheeses and veggies fresh throughout the day and bring the taste of our home state to our guests by adding locally-sourced products to our menu whenever we can.
Since ‘72 it’s been about more than creating quality sub sandwiches; it’s been about making a difference for those in the communities we call home. Through our Make It Better Foundation and our locally-owned sub shops, we have a longstanding tradition of giving back to the communities we serve.

Very handy but ...
Favorites aren’t saved. The Favorites says “YOU HAVE NO FAVORITES” but if I save to favorites it says “You already have a favorite named Tuna Meal.” What gives? Other than that, this app is very handy.
Avoid Cousins Completely
Today’s horrendous service was unreal. I waited 80 minutes for my order, before calling the store to check in and see what happened. The man I spoke to said he had been gone a very long time and he was unsure why I hadn’t received my order yet. After an additional 45 minutes, I still didn’t have my food and did not hear from anyone, so I called back again. The man I spoke to said the driver came back to the store. My address is clear and simple and there were no additional steps for him to take other than come up to my obviously stated address. No one ever tried to call me either before or after the delivery driver disappeared for 2 hours and didn’t deliver my food and then went back to the store. The delivery driver never tried to call me and the person at the store didn’t call me back after he knew I was still waiting and this driver did nothing. I’m a type one diabetic and am now dealing with trying to drink juice/get my blood up/replace the nutritional value in random foods in my house. I have no words for how horrible this customer service has been on all ends and I can’t believe a place would even employ people who would treat customers like this. I’m disgusted, angry and now sick because of how careless and bad the people working today have been.
The app works great but it would be nice if it would allow Apple Pay or PayPal or Venmo.
