Ratings and Reviews
Much better. Keep on improving.
Very similar to version 1, but with a different UI.
Few dozens of overlays that make your images look analog. Pretty good.
Lacks very basic functions
This is really a beginner’s app. It does some interesting things, but it lacks very basic features like being able to zoom in on an image to inspect it at full size. This is the first graphics program I’ve ever seen that doesn’t have a zoom function.
Plus, there’s no way to add effects, textures, overlays, etc., so you’re stuck with only the ones that come with it & you pretty quickly get tired of those.
Flare is a good idea with some promising features but needs work to be very useful. If the developers added a few basic things it would be killer. but ss it is, it’s still strictly for kids.
Cleaner, more powerful, and yet underpriced!
Yeah, in a world with free photography apps galore $10 seems like a lot — however, when you have an app as powerful, as versatile as Flare is — it’s so little money for what it does.
Sure, you can tweak each filter, but the presets are terrific jumping off points for creative work. Flare 2 makes me want to take more photos!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
