Good, but limited
This is a good app for quickly checking on your investment. It is a little hard to navigate, taking a few minutes to try all the links to find what you need. But it is very close to the online website giving you almost all the tools needed to change investments or research stocks.
Sample screenshots indicate questionable test data configuration
When my former colleague was in charge of configuring test data for this app, the demo screenshot balances made sense and, were based on realistic, relatable data. It’s a shame that TRP has pigeon-holed itself into only hiring unseasoned temps via Tek Systems to do this shoddy data config work. I have to wonder how effective testing is even being done for the app, when configuring customer test data for simple screenshots is clearly a significant challenge. Amateur-hour.
Not as good as the iPhone app
I downloaded this because I was having issues getting the other app to open after the last software update. This app doesn’t open to show the overall portfolio value or the value of each fund like the iPhone app does. Also it doesn’t identify what segments the pie chart refers to. You can find the information if you dig around a little but overall this isn’t nearly as user friendly as the iPhone app. Please fix it.
