Shopper

Market Force Shopper has some good shops. It would be good if there was a greater variety of place to choose from.
MFS try to work on a shoe string, paying you very little for completing the shops. They need to pay more for the shops because by the time you figure up your time going to the shop, gas, completing the shop, then filling out the paper work and sending it to them you make nothing. They reimburse you for your food, but what they pay may/may not cover your gas. You end up on the short end of the stick.

SEASONED MYSTERY SHOPPER

This app is an extra convenience for your phone. It's nice to be able to review guidelines just prior to doing a mystery shop.
This company has been around for quite a while. Basic Mystery shops don't traditionally pay a lot of money – but if you are smart, and plan ahead, you can do shops while you're going about your regular daily activities. This can allow for reimbursed meals and a little bit of pocket change.

(I actually found a shop on the app – that I could not apply to, on my regular computer. I'm not sure why – but it was really nice to be able to assign myself to the task)!
*For actual reporting of events – I still use my computer – but the app is nice to have, too.

New shopper

I’ve only been doing this for a month, so far the app is working pretty well for me. I had a problem one night attempting to upload photos at the end of my report. I kept trying for over an hour. I called and there was nobody working at that time. I emailed the help desk hoping to receive a reply before time ran out. It was over 12 hours later that I received a reply, by then my persistence had paid off and the photos had loaded. My shop was approved, I appreciate that.
