Satisfied reviewer! ,

GREAT for all ages! Teens!

I never leave reviews for anything, unless I’m very affected by the product. I started using Tip Yourself in July 2019 (keep in mind, I’m 17 years old with a part-time job). As of November 2019, I have $1,452 saved up. The good thing about the app is that it doesn’t bother you, it doesn’t do anything without your permission, and it’s FDIC insured. If you want to make a withdrawal, you put in how much money you want to withdrawal (or you can do an entire withdrawal). Then, you wait two days for the money. This is the good thing about this app; I wouldn’t take money out of my savings to buy chips from the store or jeans from the mall because of the time it takes to get the money. It encourages you to AVOID spending your money. Once you have a lot saved up, you are super protective over that money, meaning that you will not want to withdrawal at all. It’s like working out at the gym. You don’t want to, and you hate it. Then, you see results and you become addicted! Happy Saving! Good luck! Sincerely, A SATISFIED REVIEWER

Thank you for the wonderful review. Unfortunately you do need to be 18 or older to use Tip Yourself to save money.

Tips pending for WEEKS

It’s a really cool premise and I really want to use it, the issue is it takes days to even a week or more for the transfers to actually go through and show up on your bank account. This can make it hard to make small deposits regularly, as there could already be a lot pending you totally forgot about. Because of this I probably will not be using the app going forward as it becomes a lot to remember and keep track of once a pending transfer takes over a week to even show up as pending through your bank.

Update: several more days have passed and I cannot spend or withdrawal the money I deposited. It’s still pending. At this point it is just an unacceptable timeframe for an app that involves money like this.

Another update: it’s been weeks. I cannot withdrawal everything and delete this app because it is still pending. I have not added any tips In 3 weeks, there is no reason why anything at all should still be pending. Don’t get this app unless you want to be surprised by a bunch of tips coming out at once, and not being able to access any of your money for weeks. Over it.

Definitely worth it!

This is something I needed for so long. Out of sight out of mind. I’m saving to bring my daughters to Disney for their 6th bday (twins) in November 2019 and since I started using this app (pro) about 3 months I have about $650. I also use the 52 week challenge. I have 4 tip jars in all. A rainy day one which I contribute $50 weekly, a “just because” one when I feel like contributing, Disney I just up’ed to $100 weekly. I put this app on the last screen so I do not see it. Love this app and great for people like me who are horrible at saving for a special something. I also have my 401 and personal savings however this is because I sometimes dip into my personal savings because I can. With Tip Jar, it takes 3 days to transfer so I do not even think about it. Thank you!!!!
