Ratings and Reviews
This app combines two of my greatest passions - nature and meditation. And with the convenience of an app on my iPhone, I can access both any time of the day. Pretty amazing. The time-lapse flowers are absolutely mesmerizing, as they slowly open and close over time, revealing the beauty of a flower’s lifecycle. By combining it with nature sounds - waterfalls, rivers, streams, ocean waves - it creates a peaceful ambient background. I sat it next to my computer while I was working this morning. Because it features the clock and weather, it’s a useful and handy app, too. What a lovely application. Thank you! I’ll be purchasing the Mac app next.
18 flowers, 6 are orchids, all are macro, they all start when the flower is past the bud stage and end shortly after they begin opening so they're just a narrow window of time. The calendula and daisies show disappointingly little or none of the action in their centers.
These aren't showing "the beauty of the flower's lifecycle" anymore than reversing footage of a cat walking shows "an amazing cat able to walk backward". Sometimes reviewers are so primed to love apps they'll make things up about 'em
The photography is nice so if you're ok with the limitations you'll be happy. There's nothing wrong with orchids; they're lovely but the interesting biology isn't happening just the opening of the blooms. I guess that's my issue with all of them.
This is an amazing app. The images are gorgeous and hypnotic. Add your choice of nature sounds and you can meditate, calm your spirit, revitalize, whatever you do to improve your state of mind. This is the place to do it. Simply lovely. I only wish for one small change... allow the sounds to keep running after turning off your device. I’d love to drift off to sleep to the rain sounds, but the screen is too bright and distracting at that point. Would you be able to change that?
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
