Description
MVGO is the app for your individual mobility in Munich! This free app offers access to all sharing services provided by MVG and its partners, as well as public transport tickets by MVG. Whether you prefer riding an MVG Rad bike, public transport, e-bikes or e-scooters, you can book them conveniently with one app.
Great overview: explore all nearby vehicles based on real-time data.
Regular updates: we’re regularly adding new features to the app, and continuously improving MVGO.
* Public transport ticketing – all public transport tickets, from the popular stripe ticket, to single tickets, weekly or monthly tickets, or subscriptions/abo for all transport modes including U-Bahn/underground, bus, tram, S-Bahn/suburban trains and rail.
* Public transport routing – the new connection finder is here and is continuously being improved. Explore and choose your preferred public transport connection.
* MVG Rad and TIER e-bike sharing with our MVG Rad bikes and TIER e-bikes.
* E-scooter-sharing with TIER and Voi for renting electric kick scooters.
* Taxi – quickly find the closest official taxi rank.
* New design
We’ve heeded your wishes and redeveloped the app in a new, contemporary design. No clutter, great overview: explore all nearby vehicles. In real-time, with innovative filtering options, and your preferred visualisation: map or list.
* MVG customers get additional benefits
We offer discounted rates for customers with MVG subscriptions, as well as students enrolled at participating universities. Additionally, you can bike affordably with MVG Rad discount packages: cheaper rates per minute via prepaid packages, or monthly packages with daily free minutes. MVG Rad reservations are free.
* Improved vehicle identification
Quickly find your vehicle, no matter whether it’s an MVG Rad bike, or e-scooter or e-bike using the QR code on the vehicle. Use our in-app QR code scanner or your own.
* One M-Login account, many possibilities
Register your free M-Login account once, then use it to keep tabs on everything: trips, number of free minutes, payment methods, invoices and billing. By the way, this same account also works with our other apps MVG Fahrinfo and HandyParken.

It’s promising
I’ll be honest, I liked the original MVGO app design. Still, this has potential. We are missing some features (that even other of your transit apps have!)
- Platform signalling (where does the train stops?)
- Apple Pay. Come on!
- Wallet support. Berlin has it. Please 🙏🏼
- Dark mode. 2022!
Other than that, great app to have everything mobility in one place. Keep up the great work!

App is easy to use, but bikes aren’t
The bikes are too heavy! Not suitable for long distance.
Had bike issues but eventually resolved
Had a lot of issues with the bikes (wouldn’t unlock, and then later wouldn’t lock) but calling the hotline resolved it.
