Numbering by St. Augustine of Hippo

Do not be afraid of “Catholic” as the other reviewer posted. They are all there, and in order.

The 10 commandments are not exactly numbered as you can see when reading Exodus 20:1-17. If we all tried to number independently, there would be differences.

St. Augustine (a great theologian, philosopher and devout Christian) developed Christian teaching and numbered the 10 commandments slightly differently in the early Church, and there have been various numberings over the centuries.

***Fellow Christians, do not allow something small to divide us, the commandments are ALL there, and in order.

Whether #3 or #4 keep in mind, Sabbath simply means rest or day of rest. Jesus rose on the 8th day - which was the 1st day, Sunday. That is why Christians celebrate the risen SON of God symbolically on Sunday. (Regardless what Theosophist’s try to say about it) Jesus did not abolish the Law, but He did change things up a bit!

Maybe the app maker could add the other version, to appease Protestants, and maybe other languages, such as Hebrew/translated

The 4th commandment is Remember the Sabbath Day...which is the seventh day. Not the 1st day of the week.
