Idle Zombie Miner: Gold Tycoon 4+

I was playing Cake Sort, and this game appeared in the frequent ads. I finally downloaded it. First, why do ads for games not match the actual game play? Many games have these ads. Aren’t they misleading? I’ve enjoyed playing the game, though I feel like I watch it as much as I play it. What I love about the game is the Zombies operating the mine shafts, who smile and wave at me. I’ll miss you guys. I’ve reached mine 14. Now I see what will make me delete the game in the near future. Automating the mines has reached 2000 essence bottles. I’m lucky to have reached 1000 of those. I know the game can go on without automating the mine shafts. But without automating, there are no smiling and waving hands from the Zombies. I’ve used gems to get the automation done. Here’s a suggestion. Have a stuffed Zombie made, and for those who buy it, they get the monetary equivalent of the ad free price that matches what the stuffed Zombie toy costs.

➡️Update: since getting to mine 15, it’s back to easier to automate. I added a star, because now I don’t see deleting the game soon. Yet. 🔚

I downloaded this game on a whim. I will say the gameplay is ridiculously different from the ads. It’s pretty standard for an idle game. The colors are bright and the zombies are cute.

I played this game free at first. It’s entirely possible to play this game without watching any ads. The ads do give you nice bonuses that reduce the time it takes to cycle through, but you don’t have to watch any of them. They aren’t intrusive, it’s always a choice. Even free, this game does better than most at being chill.

After I’d been playing a bit I decided to pay for no ads. I’ve been burned on this before, but the game is cute and stable and developers deserve to get paid.

It’s absolutely awesome. No ads means no ads at all. Not one. Not even for bonuses like extra treasure chests. Everything is still time limited, it doesn’t unbalance the game, it just gives you that soothing ability to just play your game. You can zone out without having to worry about whether the ads for that Ponzi scheme are still in your algorithm. You can just play.

I am old enough to remember when that was what it meant when you bought a game. One of the worst things that happened is when I switched phones and lost access to the paid-for Bejeweled I used to be able to chill out to.

So I recommend this game, whether you play free or buy it, it’s great both ways.

The game is fun, if you like Gold and Goblins you’ll like this one too. A little pricier than G&G, they only offer 1 month ad free service to G&G’S lifetime.

I see the pics they show yet they aren’t in the version I play… hmm false advertising or a version they haven’t released yet? Who knows, it’s the same old whack a rock til it break and move on.. great game if you time to play constantly until higher levels which seem to take forever just like G&G.

Only 3 stars because of the monthly ad free but you get jewels and potions every day, and while they ad up it’s not worth the $15 for it, they also have a $5 plan that just gets rid of ads, (there are a lot, ads to collect everything) open a crate? Play the ad, want this play the ad, I average more time watching ads than playing the game.. so caveat emptor…
