more This app works great most of the time (just an occasional crash when writing the metadata, nothing major). It doesn't affect the video files, it just doesn't save some of them when it crashes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I can not get it to use the episode art from TheTVDatabase. It only offers season artwork and I have to manually drag and drop each episode artwork from the website. Perhaps I am missing something in the Preferences?? If it would do that I would definately give it 5 Stars.

So I loved this product when i bought version 1 and admittedly, when version 2 auto updated I had major problems but iflicks were good at bug fixes and also leeting me know that they had recieved my emails and support contacts. But with the version 3.0.3 auto update, something happened. it auto updated during the day while i was converting many blu ray files, it stopped and re started it self mid way through my conversions but as soon as the update was done all my cobversions came out of iflicks being way to red as if someone had lowered the contrast and whacked up the color, the conversions looked horrible and I cannot use them in itunes.Well i contacted iflicks, through the correct channels, informing them of this issue, i didnt hear anything for over 48hrs so I wrote again and again. finally someone reponded telling me they were combining all my tickets into one and that, along with the comparrison pics I had already sent them, I needed to send them an original file before conversion. I did that. and have not heard anything from them for almost 2 weeks, I have started new tickets , responded to old ones and have heard nothing. it is appaling service and frankly i'm about to cancel service with them because what am I paying for? a service that no longer works and a customer support network that obvioulsy doesnt care and is almost no existent.terrible service after such a good app. poor to very poor. I would recommend doing research and thinking long and hard before paying for this service.

Direct passthrough of HEVC tracks from mkv files to m4v now only takes seconds, just like it has always worked for H.264 tracks. This works just as quick for all your HD content, no matter if 4k or 1080p. Additionally you can use iFlicks 3 to encode video tracks to HEVC. To make use of this feature you need at least macOS High Sierra, as it is the first version to natively support HEVC.
To provide even more flexibility to our power users, it is now also possible to create custom presets with different settings from the builtin ones. It is also possible to use these custom presets together with the immensely powerful rule system to create an even more customised workflow.
