  • Blocked cards?!!

    I really wanted to like this app, but the payment experience has been extremely frustrating. Multiple valid international cards that work everywhere else in Brazil were repeatedly blocked with no clear explanation. There is no helpful guidance in the app, no transparent reason given, and no easy way to resolve the issue in real time when you are simply trying to order food.For an app this popular, payment reliability and clear communication should be basic. Instead, I was left hungry, confused, and wasting time troubleshooting something that should not be this complicated.If international users are supported, the payment system needs to actually accept international cards or clearly state limitations upfront. Otherwise, it is a lot of effort for zero results.

  • Review feature not the best

    When user tries to review the last order, there is this question "was the delivery made in time?" (loose translation from Portuguese). My question is, how am I supposed to track that? Shouldn't the app track this on my behalf? I use the app the following day or so, how am I supposed to remember this...?Another candidate for improvement is the feature that alerts user about the mismatch between delivery point and user location. The alert should be displayed when the user is about to proceed to checkout, not when she is picking the items. The way it is implemented now, it is disruptive and useless, because the user is forced to dismiss it to continue selecting the items and later on, by the time she is proceeding to checkout and entering the credit card pin, most likely the address issue will have been forgotten.

  • No accountability

    Very disappointed with the lack of accountability of iFood with the service provided. Not the first time it happens. Yesterday, I ordered pizza and the delivery time was between 30-35 minutes. The order was delayed by more than one hour. I tried to contact the restaurant several times and no luck. The phone number didn’t work… it didn’t exist. In my view, iFood should be hold accountable for the information available and make it’s accurate. I had to drive to the store to pick up the order as I couldn’t reach them. When I made to the store, they arrived at my house.Besides that, I have had several issues with payment. Although Apple Pay, credit card and some other options available, none of them worked and no clear message indicating what I should do to overcome that.Fair enough, I had to workaround myself, as I’m hopeless about iFood.

  • Unable to use.

    So I am new to SP and was told this was “the” app for food delivery. However, I have only been able to make one order a day on my credit card. If I make another order later the app tells me that there is something wrong with the payment method or my bank. So, I delete the app and re-download it the next day to try and order again. I have checked with my credit card company and banks….everything is fine, they are not blocking payment. Usually I have used PayPal or Apple Pay. However, those options are not offered. Moreover, I have little luck getting ahold of customer service for the app to try and work on the issue.

  • Banned for nothing

    I barely used this app but I guess I’m not doing it ever again. I was just trying to order food when all of a sudden it kept saying there was a problem with all my payment methods. Because I liked the app and wanted to order food I made a help request through the app chat and literally instantly got a reply saying I was banned for violating their terms. As much as I’d like to know what I could’ve possibly done wrong they never actually tell me, just inform me again and again I violated the terms. I doubt I did anything possibly wrong and they are completely unhelpful in helping me fix it or tell me why. No explanations, jus a ban.

    First off me and my wife can’t place an order. When we put in our cot we can not put up a document. I’m not exactly sure why neither one of us can place an order on two different phones. It’s the only app that does not work at all. Also why don’t you put the app in English. Millions of travelers come here every year like us and we would like to be able to read and be able for the app to work out. Please get it to work.
