Problems with page turn pedal. Update fixed it. Works fine again. However, the 4 hour dance gig I played without my page turner was sheer misery. The update should never have been released with this problem. I rely, totally, on this app to provide my music for the 3 bands that I play with. My original 1 star rating was to warn others to wait on the update. This is a good product, but I feel a bit badgered to give a good rating. I expect better.I use this app for all of my big band, combo, and solo work. It took a while to learn to use it but I would never go back to had copies. The searchable fake book feature is invaluable in my work.

I’m a new user and find this less than adequate. Too much tinkering and no real help in identifying pdf files of fake books so it becomes little more than an indexing tool but you have to find the files to index which can be frustrating and tedious. I’ll probably give up with it and try forScore as there see to be more readily available standard jazz Real Books. I wrote the first paragraph shortly after initially buying the app. I actually am Les’s satisfied the more I use it. They send you all over the internet cresting yet more passwords to download free products which I was never able to get. The time I’ve spent trying to learn how to use the app would have been much better spent practicing with an old fashioned book. I keep saying it’s got to be easier than this but I just keep getting led in circles getting no where. Consequently I just took a star off my initial rating. If you want to spend hours trying to figure out how to best use this app then go for it. I’m going back to practice!Followup: in all fairness this is a followup to my first review and an improved rating, you’ve got to read tutorials etc. and reach out to tech support if needed. Once I did that I began using it successfully for my practice sessions and gigs. It’s working well and I’ve figured out how to load books and individual lead sheets. It’s not perfect but it’s far better than dragging big fake books to my gigs.

Works great! Easy install, excellent online help forum, fast answers from emails. Great features for on-the-gig application. Set list feature, song and composer search are simple to use. Some minor problems with synching and one book crashes, I'm able to improvise and adapt my way around those very minor problems. Use this app at least once a week on the gig. Bandleader e-mails the nights set lists and I import them right into igig My Scores. Only complaint I have is the set index doesn't come with the song pages. One improvement would be to include a song's number of pages. I try to avoid songs with multiple pages. I haven't purchased the page turning foot switch yet. Highly recommend this app for all gigging musicians!

This is an amazingly useful app. I have bought many fake books in my life. They are clunky, and you need a suitcase if you want to bring several of them with you on the road. Over the years I found most of those books in PDF form for free on the internet. I don't feel bad about using them, because I did by the actual book years ago! With iGigBook I can now have all those books, and my own music with me on every gig on my iPad. Not only that, but the smart index system of iGigBook makes it super easy and fast to do a search across all books in seconds. AMAZING! How did we live without it?!?

This is an amazingly useful app. I have bought many fake books in my life. They are clunky, and you need a suitcase if you want to bring several of them with you on the road. Over the years I found most of those books in PDF form for free on the internet. I don't feel bad about using them, because I did by the actual book years ago!
