iJournaler has been built from the ground up for the iPad. Designed to not get in your way, every keystroke is saved. Both landscape and portrait mode are supported.
Open it up and you are immediately taken to today's entry. To view entries from previous days simply swipe as though you were turning pages. When working in landscape mode the page on your right is always today. This makes it easy to look back at older entries for inspiration.
If you want to change your password or remove it simply touch the icon at the top of the page and choose "Change Password".
To jump to entries from one week, one month, or one year ago. Simply touch the date to change the page's entry. Today's entry is still "sticky" and cannot be changed in landscape mode.
Fixed a bug with continuously flipping pages after searching.

Problem retrieving prior pages
I love the app and have used it for a couple years. However, subsequent to making the last update there is a problem when trying to pull up a prior page. The page start flipping rapidly and does not stop. I hope this can be repaired because I don't want to loose years of journaling.
I like to write down what is going on in my life, it helps me to put things in perspective. I bought a journal when I purchased my ipad 16 months ago. I purchased a new iPad and am giving the other to my daughter. My old journal I purchased is no longer available so I had to purchase another, which is this one. I truly hope that if this iPad wears out I don't have to purchase another journal. I have a tendency to over work my technical stuff. I have been doing a lot of scanning to my iPad and it has hung in there compared to my Samsung tablet, but I decided to go and replace it before it did wear out and give it to my daughter which as a single mom who can't afford something this pricey!! Please do not end this app. I hate losing my journals. I had to sit up late at night and send each date one by one to myself and copy and paste to the new one.
Used to like
I’ve used this journal sunce 2011 for travel diaries. Pretty easy to use. However, I was never able to get it to accept photos. So, I exported trip diaries and added photos by making a Word document on my Mac. The export feature worked the first two times I used it. When I tried to export recently, before updating the iOS on the iPad, it failed completely. It didn’t matter if I emailed the export or tranferred it directly using iTunes. Nothing was readable in the unzipped file except the Welcome page. I got around this by a tedious copy/paste and email routine. Then I deleted the app and re-installed it. No dice. It still won’t export properly; I can’t read any of the unzipped files. On the “new” Welcome page exported as a text file.
I emailed for support a few days ago. Got an automated response, and nothing more. Very disappointed.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
